Your host Andrew takes great pride in the preparation and presentation of his breakfasts, which are in part inspired by the breakfasts he would serve his guests in the five-star grill rooms of Cunard Lines famous ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2.
Every morning, from 9 till 10.30 in summer, breakfast is served at your individual table in the pool house which overlooks the swimming pool. Guests have the choice of a continental style breakfast or a hot breakfast. The ingredients change daily, are seasonal and depend on what is available in the village that morning. For guests who have to leave early or prefer to sleep late, a simple self-service breakfast of bread, pastries, juice, yogurt and tea or coffee can be provided in the guest kitchen.
Continental breakfasts are usually fruit based but can include cheeses, charcuterie or yogurt / fromage blanc. Cooked breakfasts vary daily from buttery scrambled eggs and smoked salmon to freshly baked sweet or savoury waffles, eggs Benedict, a full Irish fry or how about a croque monsieur savoury pudding hot from the oven?
Every morning, croissants, pastries and breads fresh from the village are standard. As well as yogurts, cereals, fruit juices, preserves and hot drinks of your choice. Freshly brewed coffee, a choice of teas or a mug of hot chocolate.
