Le Mas Des Abeilles is a charming 19th century Provencal farmhouse, offering bed and breakfast accommodation for up to six people in three spacious double guest rooms.

The farmhouse is set in three acres of secluded gardens and paddocks and enjoys magnificent panoramic views over the Drôme Provençale countryside, the pre-Alps and the medieval hilltop village of Châteauneuf-de-Mazenc.

The south facing guest rooms overlook the large sun terrace and swimming pool and enjoy distant views of the surrounding mountains. Next to the swimming pool is a pretty English carriage house which has been transformed into a covered dining area with barbecue. This is where breakfasts are served and it is also the perfect place to enjoy lunch or dinner or maybe share a bottle of wine with friends.

The nearby village of La Bégude-de-Mazenc offers everything you will need during your stay and is a three-minute drive or fifteen-minute walk away. Montélimar, known for its delicious nougat, is twenty minutes away and Avignon and the Gorges de l'Ardèche are an hour's drive from the house. Nearby, you can visit several medieval hilltop villages in the region, some of which are classified among the most beautiful villages in France, such as Le Poët-Laval, Grignan, Mirmande and La Garde-Adhémar. To the east, a short drive away, you will find yourself among the foothills of the Alps and some of the most beautiful scenery in France.

The guest kitchen is equipped with everything you need should you prefer to self-cater or wish to make a quick snack or a drink. Free teas and coffee are supplied.

The illuminated pool terrace is a lovely place to enjoy a meal and spend a warm summer evenings with friends.

The pool house is where breakfast is served and offers a shaded place to relax with a good book during the day.

From the gardens, enjoy the beautiful view of the medieval hilltop village of Châteauneuf-de-Mazenc. The old village is only a short walk from the house and well worth a visit to explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the views over the Rhone valley to the distant Ardèche mountains.
